Confusion is roaring through me like a Stampede in the African Wilderness

I am questioning the

Existence of life

The finality of death

The waterholes of my soul

Scream out to be quenched

The drought within my essence

Cry out in malnourished anguish

I do not want to remain a corps

For the vultures

I want to rise up from the baron earth

From an underworld within

To take flight and soar

I want to run free and fierce

Alongside liberation

I want to witness sprouting buds

New life within an oasis of injustice

I become still

Quieten my breath

Calm my mind

I scrutinize the plains of who I am....

Of who I could be

Within me my zebra striped contrasts

Are embraced

I see impossible possibility through

The eyes of the eagle

From the perspective of the owl

I feel the Winds of Change sprinting

With intent

Like the cheetah

And I gain the strength of the lion

The African Wilderness

With all it's majestic wonder

Settles in my Heart

The stampede halts

We lift our faces to the heavens

As Mother Nature whispers

In the breeze

The skies open

And rain restores what has died

As clarity is gained

Never apologise for being YOU....You ARE enough xxx
