Lately I've been thinking a lot about how far I've come from psych ward admissions, cocktails of antipsychotics, and blaming the world...To taking ownership of facing my demons, and no longer running...
My true journey of healing only began in December 2018 after I returned to Australia from the UK.
My Twin Flame was the catalyst for me taking back my power after childhood trauma...He is my best friend who lives in the UK.
I call him my Twin Flame....My Mirror Soul....My best friend....and 'Simba' my Brave Heart :)
With one another we could always just BE...Whether we just sat in silence...Me with my head on his shoulder....Or if we were dancing around like two loons, laughing....
Not everybody believes in, or is aware of the concept of Twin Flames, and had I not experienced this journey myself, I would've said it's a load of B***SH**!

We both felt this undeniable connection, and our Journey has been extremely fiery, intense and, at times, heart-achingly painful.
We lost touch for about a year while I was in the UK, and at a time when we were both in a 'bad place', and needed each other most, we were brought back together in a fated meeting.
Throughout our friendship there's been a constant 'push and pull', runner / chaser dynamic and almost love / hate relationship.
A twin flame connection is not only about love....
It's about truth
Twin flames can often cause radical personal awakenings for one another because they can see straight through to one another. When twin flames meet, they both have a feeling of home in each other, and the truth lies in their silent communication through the eyes. The spiritual bond that Twin Flames have is undeniable to both of them, you just know that this person is extra special.
This connection forces you to really look within yourself. There is heartache for both people in a twin flame connection, which includes fear, loneliness, abandonment issues, insecurities, and past pain that has been repressed for so long in yourself - Things you never wanted to look at...
This connection challenges you, since you share the same equal energy vibration, and you will both change and intimidate one another – You know how to press each other’s emotional buttons since you are one Soul.
Because of the vulnerability, Twin Flames are easily triggered into the energetic push and pull...This can cause a temporary separation — this can be in the form of petty fights, or blocking each other on social media channels. Sometimes this pain pushes either of the Flames to run from the connection.
Any pain that you feel within yourself must be felt and brought to the surface and healed.
From the moment of the 'Awakening' the awakened twin can feel the energy of their twin in their chakras. They also have a telepathic communication of which the awakened twin can receive certain telepathic messages from their twin's higher consciousness, the un-awakened twin is usually unaware.
the awakened twin flame finds out that you are twin flames. Whilst the second twin flame, usually known as the un-awakened twin flame, seems to not have the same awareness of the special nature of your connection, and can often be felt to be emotionally and physically pulling back. This panics the first Twin into a state of fear, rejection and abandonment, and the push & pull or runner & chaser process starts.
Twin flames are often more sensitive to energy shifts than other people and this is because the energies are often there to purge out old stuff which no longer serves. In the beginning of the twin flame journey this usually happens in phases, with one twin purging energetically and the other then following suit.
They can also experience runner or chasing stages, and they may switch back and forth between the two roles. The chaser is the more spiritually awoken twin. In general, the runner doesn't know what a twin flame is, or they know what a twin flame relationship is, and either doesn't believe in it or they don't believe they're really in one.
This stage revolves around one twin flame distancing themselves, often out of fear of confronting the level of intimacy that the two of you are capable of experiencing. The twin in this role will be in pain and will feel very defensive and resistant. Meanwhile, the other twin flame will give chase, believing that the bond is worth fighting for and working on. Often, the end of this stage is characterized by both twin flames realizing that there are forces at work beyond their control.
I believe that Twin Flames are our primary soul connection. ... So when we are actively trying to go against our soul (pushing our twin flame away, for example) our soul is going to send some very uncomfortable feelings, sensations and circumstances our way until we get it.
The purpose of the twin flame journey is to bring unconditional love into the world, to heal old wounds and traumas, removing karma and to raise the vibration of humanity so that humans can ‘ascend’ to the ‘New Earth’.
At its heart is an emphasis on unconditional love and healing for the self, which is then reflected within the joint energies of the twins once they attain sacred ‘Union’. So although there is no logical explanation, or even proven statistics, that I’m aware of, that twin flames even exist - I believe what I know in my heart and soul to be true!
